Does a hidden price count as a MAP violation?

By default, yes, because the price is only shown in the cart. You can change this in your MAP policy settings.

Do you check open-box and refurbished listings?

They are recorded with their condition. Your MAP covers new items by default, and you can include other conditions.

What does the free scan check?

Up to five Amazon products against the MAP you enter. You get a shareable report of every offer seen, with the price, the seller and the evidence.

Is every offer below MAP a violation?

No. MAPComply shows what a shopper was shown at one moment. A finding is a possible violation until you review it and confirm it.
