Privacy policy

This policy covers mapcomply.com and app.mapcomply.com. It describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@mapcomply.com.

What we collect

• What you give us: your email, and the products and MAPs you enter in a free scan or in your account.
• How you found us: the ad click id and campaign tags in the link you arrived on (for example gclid and utm_source), so we know which ads work.
• How you use the site: pages viewed and actions such as starting a scan, through product analytics. With your consent this uses cookies; without it, it uses none. See the cookie notice.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Why we use it

To run the scan and send you the report, to provide the service you pay for, to measure and improve our site and ads, and to keep the service secure.

Who processes it for us

Hosting (Render), database and sign-in (Supabase), payments (Stripe), product analytics (PostHog), and advertising measurement (Google Ads). The full subprocessor list will be published before paid accounts open.

Your choices

• Accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
• We honour the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sharing for advertising. We don't sell personal data.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, at support@mapcomply.com.
